Poker Tracker is a company that has created several poker HUDs. PokerTracker Holdem v2, PokerTracker Omaha v2, PokerTracker 3 Hold’em for Texas Hold ’em, PokerTracker 3 Omaha for Omaha Hold ’em, PokerTracker Stud for Stud poker, and TableTracker. All of these HUDs offer similar, yet distinctive software for the kind of game you want to improve in. Its latest iteration is Poker Tracker 4 – which we will be discussing in this review.
One of the most developed aspects of this particular HUD software is its full customization ability. You have full control over the kind of reports, stats, currency, as well as the skin used in the replayer, and it’s all totally instinctive and simple. In many ways, it almost seems like the designers used Apple as an inspiration for the most recent redesign of their filtering system.
Their latest offering is Poker Tracker 4 – which has all the bells and whistles of most HUD software, with a few extras to differentiate itself from its competitors, and the bonus is that most of these come with the package, rather than being sold separately as add-ons. Additionally, Poker Tracker has taken the growing popularity of the game’s social aspect seriously, and have added some cool new social features, including the software’s ability to make a video of your hand, which you can then upload to YouTube or Facebook. Poker Tracker 4 has also taken training to a new level, and offers users built-in quizzing tools, so you can improve your gameplay in hypothetical hand scenarios.
One of the better features of the new and improved Poker Tracker 4 software, are its graphs. If you want data, it’s here, and it’s presented in easy-to-read, incredibly detailed detail. Whether you are looking to analyze pot size, hand strength or whether your opponents are break-even players, Poker Tracker delivers the information in elegant and slick forms that will please even the most discerning of data junkies. The statistical data and graphs that Poker Tracker 4 gives you are shown in multiple tabs and pages customized specifically for either positional, session, or stake stats. You can also view all of your earning results in any currency, a feature which is, surprisingly, not always included in some of the available poker HUD software.
We were also very happy with the look and functionality of the HUD that Poker Tracker 4 has delivered. All the stats are here and easily accessible within seconds, and of course, you can fully customize the HUD to show the data you want to see. Best of all, Poker Tracker 4 has introduced what they call the drag’n’drop HUD, which makes the entire process of customizing your HUD a breeze.
New users can try out Poker Tracker 4 for 30 days before having to buy the program, so for interested players; we recommend downloading the trial and testing it out yourself!
